EAD durante a pandemia

For 17 years teaching, Peruvian university professor Juan Francisco Baldeón is not new to the profession. He was also already familiar with distance learning: he has been teaching online for three years.

But Baldeón says that, with the pandemic, he reached an unprecedented level of frustration with teaching, which led him to announce, during a class in October, that he was thinking of quitting being a teacher.

"I no longer want to teach you, I'm really fed up," he told a class at the Federico Villarreal National University (UNFV), during a session on the Zoom platform.

"They will say that 'it's the teacher who didn't teach me anything'. And it's not that I didn't teach, you didn't read it. (...) I'm considering the possibility of resigning and leaving."
